The band Morgan Heritage is composed by 5 of the 29 children of Denroy Morgan (the legendary singer of the reggae scene in the 1980s): Una, Gramps and Peter on vocals; Lukes on guitar and Mr Mojo on percussions.
Discovered by the MCA label in 1992 at the Reggae Sunsplash in Montego Bay (Jamaica), they released their first album "Miracle" in 1994.
7 albums have followed between 1997 and 2005, mostly on VP Records, in collaboration with some of the best Jamaican music producers such as Bobby Digital, King Jammy's, Philip "Fattis" Burrell, Donovan Germaine, Tony Rebel, or legendary saxophonist Dean Fraser… With the album “More Teachings” released in 2011, they reached international consecration, becoming the leaders of a modern reggae tinged with hip-hop and RnB or rock music.
